A lot of times I've heard people always complain about what tariff plan is best for them, they keep migrating from one plan to the other.
Although, MTN being one of the largest telecommunication companies in Nigeria and Africa they are regarded as the best by many people, just abandoning it to some people seem very hard. But I've come with all MTN Tariff plans and their benefits all summarized to suit your taste.
How to generally migrate to any MTN tariff plan?
MTN has varieties of different tariff plans, packages leaving you with little choice on the best tariff plan to choose from. Here is how to migrate to MTN tariff
· Dial *123#
· Choose 2 for Tariff Plan Migration
· Choose 1 for BetaTalk
· Choose 2 for Pulse
· Choose 3 for mPulse
· Choose 4 for XtraSpecial
· Choose 5 for XtraValue
You will be migrated immediately.
All Tariff Plans
1. MTN Pulse
· Call rate @ 25k/sec for the first 50 seconds of call then 11k/s afterwards.
· 10 MB @ N100 for 24 hours. But you won't get bonus until after 7 days.
· 1.5 GB @ N500 - weekly data plan
· Goody bag bundle
· Instagram bundle
« 250MB @ N100
« 1GB @ N200
· Midnight plan : 250MB @ N25 valid from 0:00am to 4am
NB: You can only apply for 500MB in a night
· Unlimited streaming on Music+

2. MTN mPulse
· Call rate @ 15k/sec for all national calls
· 25MB for WhatsApp data bonus on the first recharge in a calendar month
· Data Bonus on the first recharge in a calendar week
· N200 airtime reward on your birthday
· 100MB @ N50 weekly
· N350MB @ N150 for 14 days
To migrate Dial *344*1# or Send ‘mPulse’ to 131 or Download MyMTNApp, go to tariff plan and select mPulse
You can check your bonus, recharge your SIM, all from the standard and regular method, *556# and *555*pin# respectively.
3. MTN AWUF4U
AWUF4U is not really a plan but a bonus or what I call an additional tariff plan. It's actually open to all plan and MTN users
· Call rate @ 45k/sec for national/local calls
· Call rate @ 66k/sec for international calls
· 200% of recharge below N100
· 300% of recharge above N100

4. MTN beta talk
· Call rate @ 42k/sec from the main account to national and international calls.
· Call rate @ 45k/sec from bonus account to national and international calls
· 200% bonus of every recharge above N100 for 7 days
· Free 10MB for 7 days upon N100 recharge
To migrate simply dial *123*2*1# or text BT to 131.
5. MTN TruTalk
· Call rate @ 20k/sec for calls to MTN users
· Call rate @ 26K/sec TO ANY OTHER network
· 10MB of data for N100
· Receive N300 after recharging N200
· You get the ability to receive a discount for calls to 11 chosen MTN numbers
· Free hour calls from 00:30 am to 4:30 am every day, that is if you have N100 and above in your account

6. MTN XtraSpecial
· This plan is best if you make international calls a lot. It's available to only postpaid customers
· 3.75GB monthly @ N1,500
· Call rate @ 15k/sec To some international countries and all national
The international countries you can call include Canada, China, Germany, Sweden, South Korea, Israel, Hong Kong, Romania, Denmark, Cyprus, India, Ireland, Malaysia, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States, Malta, Luxembourg.
To migrate dial *408# or *408*1# or *123*2*3# Or Text 408 to 131.
7. MTN Yafun yafun
MTN YafunYafun is a special MTN Call plan that allows New MTN customers to enjoy a bunch of benefits after registering and activating a new SIM.
· 700% bonus on all your recharge for 3 months valid for only 7days
· Free access to WhatsApp service for a period of 3 months ONLY.
To get started on this plan select MTN YafunYafun tariff plan from the USSD menu that will be displayed.
DISCLAIMER: After 3 months you will stop receiving the bonus on your recharges and you will automatically be migrated to MTN BetaTalk tariff plan. To check your bonus balance, simply dial *559*43#. You will NOT be able to migrate back to MTN YafunYafun tariff plan.
8. MTN Welcome back
MTN Welcome Back offer is an offer that rewards customers that have not used their lines in the last 30 – 180 days
