As school resumes in Edo State tomorrow 28th of September, the state government, through the ministry of education has put some modalities in place for the re-opening of school. schools proprietors and principals are to to put the following in place to avoid the spread of the virus among pupils, students and staff of the the various schools. The principals are to ensure the following are put in place;
A place for running water, a wash-hand basin or a tapped-bucket of running water,
Soap, bar or fluid,
Alcohol based sanitizers,
Provide nose-mask for teachers, while parents are to provide nose-mask for their children and wards.
Schools with large population are to have two lesson sessions. this is to ensure safe distancing among pupils and students. The first session will be from 8am to 11am (morning session) and the second session will be from 11am to 3pm (afternoon session).
Most importantly, schools are to have infra-red thermometers.
