I don’t want to dedicate my whole life to America; I want to come home to Africa – Meek Mill

Since the launch of Ghana’s Year of Return initiative, many people of African descent resident in the diaspora are expressing interest in visiting or relocating to the continent permanently.


Recent among such people is African-American rapper and songwriter, Robert Rihmeek Williams, known popularly as Meek Mill who announced his plans of returning home to Africa on his official Twitter handle.


According to the multiple award-winning rapper, he does not want to live all his life in America. “I don’t wanna dedicate my whole life to the American lifestyle I been living” he stated.


He added further that, he wants to have a first-hand experience with the African way of life; “I need to feel that experience With my family as another option in life” the rapper wrote.


Meek Mill chose Ghana as his preferred destination on the continent and wanted to buy a house in the West African Country. “I want to buy a property in Ghana where do I start?” he queried.
