'Kill fear, speak the truth to power' —Dino Melaye reacts to allegations against Kukah

Former Lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye has reacted to the allegations levelled against the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Reverend Mathew Kukah by the federal government after he accused President Muhammadu Buhari of nepotism.

In a tweet, Dino Melaye stated that Nigerians would prove to Buhari that the government is not owned by him if he makes attempt to arrest or embarrass Bishop Kukah over his recent comment about his government.

The former lawmaker accused the Buhari-led administration of trying to scare everybody.

Earlier, Bishop Kukah in his Christmas message, noted that Nigeria under the leadership of President Buhari appeared to be heading for darkness with the citizens traveling in a derless ship.

The cleric further accused Buhari of deliberately sacrificing the dreams of those who voted for him for

what he described as a program to institutionalize northern hegemony.
