Argentine star Lionel Messi has been offered a whopping contract at French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain for him to make a switch this summer.
Reports cited in Daily Mail claim that a sensational three-year contract has been offered to the Barcelona captain whose contract with the Catalan giants expires at the end of the season.
Messi’s future remains in doubt as the 33-year-old is yet to renew his contract with the Spanish club.
It was gathered that PSG has now offered the six-time Ballon d’Or winner an unbeatable contract as well as shirt number 10 currently for Neymar.
Messi and Neymar were part of the Barcelona squad that won treble during the 2014-2015 season under manager Luis Enrique and it is widely believed that the Brazilian is working hard to convince the playmaker to join the Parc des Princes.
With just over eight weeks left on Messi contract with Barcelona, fans of the club want him to remain with the Camp Nou side.
After their Copa Del Rey glory, Barcelona president Joan Laporta said: “I'm convinced that he wants to stay.
This is his club. “He gave an exhibition today (in the final) and what's more he's surrounded by a great team. We will do everything in our power to make sure he stays.
” Antoine Griezmann, Messi's striker partner at Barcelona, added: "Messi is happy here. What happens in the summer is not in our hands."
