Federal Government has said it will be left with no option other than to impose a fresh lockdown in the country if the number of COVID-19 infections continues to spike.
The National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVIF-19, Sani Aliyu, stated this on Friday during a media briefing in Abuja.
However, some Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the news, saying the Federal Government should also be ready for another phase of the #ENDSARS protest if peradventure the country would be lockdown as a result of the rise in COVID-19 cases.
