Nigeria legend Jay-Jay Okocha has revealed Brazilian icon Ronaldinho tried to imitate him when they were teammates at PSG.
Okocha, who played for several European clubs, spoke of the time he shared at PSG with Brazilian legend who was still a youngster back then, noting that the latter would copy some of the dribbles and tricks the Nigerian was famous for.
Although they only played for one season before Okocha moved to Bolton in 2002, the Barcelona legend was still able to learn some skills from the ex-Nigerian international.
"Ronaldinho tried to imitate some of my skills and dribbles, he was still a young player before I left for England and he joined Barcelona," Okocha told Egyptian TV On time Sports.
Okocha and Ronaldinho played together for the French champions in the 2001/2002 season. The Brazilian legend arrived at the Paris based club from Gremio as an exciting youngster, while Okocha was already an established star at the club.
Ronaldinho was a kingpin at his days at FC Barcelona where he won the FIFA Ballon d'Or before he joined AC Milan in the later part of his career.
