Glo-CNN African Voices showcases singer, Mr Eazi

African Voices Changemakers, the Globacom-supported magazine program on CNN International, this end of the week has Nigerian vocalist and musician, Mr Eazi, as an exceptional visitor.


The artiste whose genuine name is Oluwatosin Ajibade was conceived in Port Harcourt, Nigeria in 1991. He later moved to Ghana where he examined Mechanical Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.


He began his music vocation in 2012 with the arrival of his mood and blues single entitled "Pipi Dance". The tune was effective, particularly on the web, and this drove him to record different tracks, for example, "Skin Tight" which highlighted Ghanaian star, Efya, in 2015. He additionally teamed up with Ghanaian R&B star, Sarkodie, Lil Kesh and Burna Boy on different melodies that were similarly successes.


Mr Eazi lined up in 2017 with the arrival of the mixtape, Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1: Accra to Lagos which highlighted a few Nigerian entertainers including Big Lean, Tekno, Phyno and DJ Cuppy. The collection contained singles like "Leg Over" and "Tilapia" which became moment hits with music darlings over the African landmass.


Watchers will gain from him the direction of his music profession in Nigeria and Ghana and how he spearheading Banku music which is a blend of Ghana highlife and Nigerian rhythms.
