A trending video on social media has attracted the attention of many Nigerians, especially on Twitter.
In the video, the Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu is seen leading a gospel song when a women group - ‘Matan Zumunta’ paid him a visit.
The group is a popular women wing amongst Christians in northern Nigeria and they are known for rendering soul-lifting gospel songs.
The video was shared by Isa Gusau, the chief press secretary of Borno state governor, Babagana Zulum, and has so far gotten almost 1,000 likes.
It is not clear when the video was recorded but Gusau indicated that he got it from a popular messaging platform - Whatsapp
Dr. Adamu is the 11th and the present Emir of Bauchi Emirate in Bauchi state. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Building Technology from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi.
Many say his action is commendable and a way of promoting peace in the country. Some Nigerians have been commenting on the action of the Emir.
