Android Version and their Names

Many of you most definitely have heard the word Android or used one, or are even using one now but do not know what it is?
Every now and then yo hear people say things like "I want to buy an Android phone " or " I'm using an android phone but don't actually know what they re talking about.
Well, Android is a Mobile Operating System that helps the functionality of your phone. We could say it is a software that oversees the welfare of the phone, like the booting of the phone, the managing of all other programs and so many other things.
The development of Android started in 2003 by Android, Inc., which was purchased by Google in 2005.
Android was released to the public on November 5, 2007. but the first commercial version, Android 1.0, was released on September 23, 2008.
Afterwards, they began to release different version and using code names adapted from desserts. They also name them Alphabetically.
Google has announced in August 2019 they were ending the use of dessert names and will use numerical ordering for future versions

How to Check Your Version of Android
To check your Andriod Version, I know most of you are anxious right now,
Go to the Settings on your phone
Scroll down to the bottom of the phone till you see the About menu
Click on device Info. Depending on your device, but at this point play around you'll find it.
